Catfolk Monk (Katrin Veldius) by DM Stash
Description
She moves before you hear her — claws drawn, robes snapping in the wake of a kick that could shatter stone, her feline eyes locked on something only she can see.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Katrin Veldius is a catfolk monk sculpted in a dynamic combat pose, one knee raised mid-kick, both arms extended — one open-clawed and reaching, the other curling inward as though channelling ki. She wears layered quilted armour with diamond-pattern stitching and woven wraps around her forearms and shins, with a broad sash and billowing patterned half-cape caught mid-motion behind her. Her tail sweeps out behind for balance, and her mane of flowing hair adds to the sense of explosive movement. The decorative scenic base features a large folded fan, scattered scrolls, ceramic vessels, and a length of chain — evoking an East Asian-inspired martial arts aesthetic that suits a wandering warrior monk equally at home in a monastery or a city rooftop.
This sculpt rewards painters who enjoy layering — the textile detail across her armour and wraps, the flowing hair, and the rich base scenery all offer genuine depth. As a display piece she holds her own; on the table she brings immediate character presence to any encounter.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Are playing a Tabaxi or catfolk Monk in D&D 5e or Pathfinder
- Want a named NPC martial arts master, rival, or wandering warrior
- Need a centrepiece mini for an East Asian-inspired campaign arc
- Collect display-quality character miniatures with strong visual identity
Encounter Hook:
The players are hired to track down a relic stolen from the Temple of the Stilled Wind. Their trail leads them to a rooftop market in the merchant quarter — and there, crouched atop a crate of lacquered boxes, is Katrin Veldius: ex-guardian of that very temple, claws bared, ready to fight them for it before she'll even hear why they've come.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic base are separate pieces and attach cleanly with a small amount of superglue — note that the base is sculpted to complement this specific pose and the two work best displayed together. Printed at high resolution with fine surface detail across the textile work, hair, and base scenery. Supports are removed before despatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks may occasionally be present and can be tidied with a hobby knife before priming.
