Catfolk Merchant by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
He's been to every port worth visiting twice, sold things best not asked about, and his lute has more stories than his tongue — which is saying something.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Mia Kay's Catfolk Merchant is a wonderfully characterful sculpt of a feline humanoid trader with the bearing of someone who has talked his way out of considerably worse situations than yours. Draped in layered rope-work bandoliers, pouched belts, and a crossbody sling carrying a well-travelled lute, he raises a small vial with the quiet confidence of a merchant who absolutely knows its value — and absolutely won't tell you what's in it. His feline features carry a calm, appraising expression: alert, knowing, and not quite smiling. This is a Tabaxi who deals in information as readily as goods.
The sculpt captures that wonderful sweet spot between roguish trader and wandering bard — equally at home in a bustling bazaar, a thieves' guild back room, or the corner table of a tavern where the good wine is kept. Whether you play him as a charming fence, a quest-giver with strings attached, or a Bard PC who funds his adventures through commerce, he brings instant personality to the table.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a memorable Tabaxi or Catfolk NPC with genuine character
- Are building a mercantile district, port city, or travelling market encounter
- Want a Bard or Rogue PC mini with flair and visual storytelling
- Collect anthropomorphic fantasy miniatures for display or campaign use
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the dockside night market looking for passage south — and finds him waiting at his stall, holding up a vial of something faintly luminescent. He already knows their names. He already knows what they need. He gestures to a stool and says, with absolute composure, "Sit down. This will either cost you very little or absolutely everything. Let's find out which."
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale, the model comes with a detailed cobblestone-style base. As with all our miniatures, it arrives ready to prime and paint, or use straight from the box for your next session. Minor support marks may occasionally be present but are easily cleaned up.
