Description

The war council had promised reinforcements — what rolled into view instead was a rickety catapult with a grinning goblin already climbing into the bucket.

  • ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

This superbly detailed siege engine is a centrepiece piece of battlefield terrain that brings medieval warfare and chaotic goblinoid engineering to your tabletop in equal measure. The sculpt captures a full wheeled catapult frame — planked timber beams, iron bolt fastenings, tightly wound torsion rope, and solid wooden wheels — with all the weight and wear of a well-used war machine. Perched in the launch bucket is a heavily armoured goblin (or small creature) operator, clutching what appears to be a lit fuse, utterly committed to the plan. It is, in the best possible way, a disaster waiting to happen.

Whether you're staging a siege encounter, dressing a military encampment, or building a diorama that tells a story before a single die is rolled, this catapult rewards close inspection. The woodgrain texture, the reinforced crossbeams, the tension mechanism — every element has been sculpted with genuine care for authenticity and character. A brilliant piece for gaming and display collecting alike.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Are running siege warfare, military camp, or battlefield encounters
  • Want a commanding centrepiece for a battle map or diorama
  • Love goblin or hobgoblin-themed armies and warband collections
  • Need meaningful cover and atmosphere in large-scale combat scenes
  • Are building a display that captures the chaos of a fantasy warfront

Encounter Hook:
The party has been tasked with reaching the castle gate before the besieging goblin warband fires a second volley — but the catapult crew has already dragged the arm back and the armoured goblin in the bucket is very much awake, very much armed, and absolutely delighted to see them.

Scaled to 32mm. Supplied as a single assembled piece. Ready for priming and painting straight out of the box, or striking on the table as raw grey resin. Part of the MZ4250 free-to-play catalogue, brought to life here at our UK studio.
