The Carrion Ghoul is no shambling cemetery ornament — it is a predator, lean and purposeful, built for the chase. This sculpt from Stormborn Collectibles captures that awful energy in a single frozen moment: the creature crouched low, arms splayed wide, claws raking the air, its skull-like face split open in a silent scream. The body is a horror of exposed musculature and necrotic corruption — flesh that has rotted in patches to reveal the structure beneath, nodules and cavities across the torso and limbs suggesting something that has been dead long enough to begin falling apart, yet is still horribly, hungrily alive. The pose reads as both ambush predator and territorial threat, equally at home bursting from a crypt door or cornering the party in a fog-choked graveyard.
Three angles are available across our product images, each showing the full sculpt in grey — front-facing with arms outstretched, a three-quarter rear profile showing the ravaged back and haunched stance, and a low side-on view that emphasises the creature's coiled, lunging silhouette. The textured scenic base is included with the mini. This is Pose 01 of our Carrion Ghoul range — browse the other poses if you want a pack of these terrors bearing down on your adventurers from every angle.
A solid choice for adventurers who:
- Need a visceral undead threat that reads as fast and dangerous rather than slow and lumbering
- Are building a necromancer's warband, a haunted graveyard encounter, or a catacomb crawl
- Want a centrepiece BBEG or a mid-tier pack hunter with real table presence
- Collect horror-adjacent fantasy miniatures for display or painting projects
Encounter Hook:
The party is hired to retrieve a noble's body from a ransacked tomb — but when they arrive, the burial chamber is empty save for claw marks scored deep into the stone floor, and something in the dark at the end of the passage answers the lantern light with a sound that is not quite breathing.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale as intended by the artist, though as a BBEG-class creature this ghoul runs slightly larger than a standard humanoid mini — get in touch if you'd like a scale adjustment. The scenic rubble base is included. The mini may arrive in separate parts requiring assembly with superglue. Some minor cleanup of support marks may be needed, though we do our best to quality-check every piece before it leaves us.
