Description
The gates of the accused city open not to diplomats, but to the iron tread of Ser Baldur — Captain of the Inquisition, and the last face heretics ever see.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Ser Baldur cuts an imposing silhouette: full plate armour layered over chainmail, a visored helm crowned with a sweeping feathered crest, and a long spear rested casually across one shoulder — the nonchalance of a man who has nothing left to fear. At his side hangs a grotesque trophy, a horned bestial skull suspended from his belt like a calling card. His tabard is ragged at the hem, worn through long campaigns and harder choices. This is not a knight errant with noble ideals; this is the mechanism of an institution's will, made flesh and given a name.
Sculpted at 35mm scale by Great Grimoire, this miniature carries exceptional surface detail — every rivet, chain link, buckle, and worn edge reads cleanly. He works equally well as a named antagonist your party dreads meeting again, a morally complicated faction leader, or a player character who has emerged from the far, darker end of a paladin's oath. As a display piece, he commands a shelf the way Ser Baldur commands a room.
A fine choice for adventurers who:
- Need a gravitas-heavy named NPC — a Paladin Inquisitor, Hellfire Warden, or Oath of Conquest knight
- Are running campaigns involving religious orders, witch trials, or corrupt institutions
- Want a player character sculpt with genuine menace and heavy armour presence
- Collect dark-fantasy knight miniatures worthy of a display shelf
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives in a border town only to find it under occupation — Ser Baldur's Inquisition has declared the local temple a site of corruption and placed every resident under suspicion. A frightened priest slips the adventurers a sealed letter and begs them to run. Ser Baldur's visor turns slowly in their direction across the square.
