Description

He's seen a dozen ports, buried twice as many secrets, and the pipe never leaves his lips — not even when the cannons start firing.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the Captain from Galaad Miniatures: a grizzled, broad-shouldered sea dog posed with one boot propped on a docking post, a blunderbuss resting casually at his side, and the quiet confidence of a man who owns every room he walks into — or every deck he commands. His tricorn hat sits low over a scarred, weathered face, and a clay pipe juts from between his teeth. The coiled rope on the base ties the whole sculpt to the harbour's edge, making this far more than a generic pirate — this is a character with a history your players will immediately want to uncover.

Whether he's the feared admiral of a smuggler fleet, a retired privateer now selling information to the highest bidder, or the party's morally ambiguous patron with a map and a grudge, the Captain brings instant narrative weight to any coastal or nautical campaign. He's equally at home commanding a session of roleplay as he is anchoring a display shelf.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a commanding pirate captain NPC for a naval or port-city campaign
  • Want a quest-giver with visible history and a face players won't forget
  • Are running seafaring adventures involving smugglers, privateers, or the harbour watch
  • Collect characterful humanoid figures for display or diorama use

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the Saltmere docks to find their contact dead — and a heavyset man in a tricorn hat leaning against the mooring post beside the body, pipe lit, entirely unbothered. He already knows who they are. He's been expecting them. He says he can help — for a price — and his eyes suggest he's already calculated exactly what they'll agree to.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and its detailed docking-post base are separate pieces, attached with superglue. The base is sculpted to interact with the pose, so we strongly recommend using it as intended. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming — or use as-is straight from the box for your next session.
