Cannon w/Cannon Balls by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
The harbour fort's guns have been silent for years — but someone has been keeping them loaded.
- ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
- ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
- ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama
This chunky, characterful cannon sits atop a sturdy timber carriage bound with rope and iron hardware, its barrel aimed and ready for whatever your campaign throws at it. The accompanying stack of cannonballs adds immediate battlefield storytelling — whether you're staging a coastal siege, a pirate ship deck, a dwarven artillery battery, or a fortified town under threat. Every plank, rivet, and wheel spoke carries enough detail to reward a proper paint job, but the piece reads clearly even left unprimed on the table.
As scatter terrain, this piece does serious work: it provides cover, signals danger, establishes setting, and gives players something to interact with. A cannon can be a plot device, an improvised weapon, an obstacle, or the centrepiece of a dramatic final stand — this sculpt handles all of those roles with ease.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Are running siege battles, coastal encounters, or pirate campaigns
- Want battlefield scatter that doubles as a narrative prop
- Are building dioramas or display scenes with a military or naval theme
- Need convincing cover terrain that also looks brilliant on a shelf
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the sea wall just as the tide turns — three cannons line the battlements, each one loaded and pointed at the enemy galleon in the bay. The harbormaster is dead. Someone needs to figure out how to fire these things before the ship reaches boarding range, and the fuse cord is already burning.
Scaled to 32mm and supplied with the cannonball stack as a separate scenic piece. The cannon and carriage are supplied as one piece. Arrives ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box for an unpainted grey resin look that still reads clearly on the table.
