Description

It does not walk — it drifts, its robes trailing like smoke, its many masked faces watching from every angle as it unfurls a scroll that was never meant to be read.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Candlekeeper is one of those creatures that stops a table cold the moment it hits the mat. Equal parts otherworldly librarian and eldritch horror, it floats on billowing, flame-scorched robes, its broad form studded with melting candles that crown its misshapen head like a grotesque chandelier. A cluster of masked faces — each wearing a different expression of unsettling calm — peer out from its body, while one hand clutches a bundle of scrolls and the other unfurls a long, curling parchment as though reading out a judgement. There is a bureaucratic menace to it, as if whatever it records is final and cannot be appealed.

Sculpted at 35mm scale, the detail across this miniature is extraordinary — the draping folds of the robes, the individual candle stubs, the layered faces with their carved symbolic eyes, and the curling scroll edges all translate beautifully to the tabletop. Whether you play it as a Fiend, an Aberration, a bound knowledge-spirit, or something entirely homebrew, the Candlekeeper commands attention as both a gaming piece and a display centrepiece.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need an unforgettable boss or encounter creature for a library, archive, or forbidden vault
  • Run campaigns touching on forbidden lore, infernal contracts, or planar entities
  • Want a showpiece miniature that rewards careful painting — the faces and candles alone offer hours of creative work
  • Are building an otherworldly or Outer Planes encounter roster
  • Collect display-quality fantasy miniatures that stand out on the shelf

Encounter Hook:
The party has broken into the Archivist's Sanctum to steal the Covenant of Ash — but something is already there. The Candlekeeper drifts between the stacks, unspooling a scroll as long as the room, murmuring in seventeen voices at once. It hasn't noticed the adventurers yet. But one of the faces on its torso just turned to look directly at the rogue.
