Iuz the Evil is one of the most iconic demigod villains in tabletop RPG lore — a cambion of divine power and mortal cruelty, son of a demon lord and a human witch, who carved out a realm of oppression through sheer malevolent will. Monster Atlas have captured him here not in the fury of battle, but in something far more unsettling: the relaxed, entitled ease of a being who has never needed to fight his own battles when he has so many wretched souls to do it for him.
The sculpt shows Iuz seated cross-legged atop a wide, rounded litter — its frame lashed together with rope and bone — borne aloft on two wooden carrying poles by a pair of gaunt, sharp-eared goblin thralls. The goblins strain under the weight, their wiry frames caught mid-step with muscles taut, tattered loin wraps hanging from their hips, clawed feet gripping the ground. One turns his head with a grimace; the other keeps his gaze low. They are clearly not doing this willingly.
Above them, Iuz himself sits in imperious repose. His muscular frame and long, wild hair — bone fetishes hanging at his collar — radiate a primitive, ancient power. His expression is one of cold, intelligent disdain: he is watching, calculating, utterly unbothered. This is a being who has outlasted empires and intends to outlast a few more.
The three figures together create a striking encounter piece — or a centrepiece for a display shelf that demands to be noticed.
Fits adventurers who:
- Are running a campaign with a Greyhawk setting or a demigod BBEG arc
- Need a memorable villain entrance that communicates power through posture, not just weaponry
- Want a hobgoblin or goblin encounter with a truly terrifying commander at its centre
- Are building a display diorama around a morally complex, lore-rich antagonist
Encounter Hook: As the party rounds the bend of a crumbling forest road, they hear it before they see it — a rhythmic shuffling, the crack of a lash, and a procession emerging from the treeline. Two skeletal goblins carry a litter, and upon it sits a figure of impossible calm. He looks at the party the way a man looks at flies in his wine. He does not stand. He does not need to.
