Description
In the murky borderlands where the Feywild bleeds into the swamp, not all who follow the warrior's path are what you'd expect — and few are as dangerous as a bullywug who has mastered the blade.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This sculpt from The Toadstool Weaver captures a bullywug samurai with quiet, coiled menace. Dressed in flowing robes belted with thick rope, a katana tucked at the hip, and those wide amphibian eyes fixed on some unseen opponent, this is a creature that knows exactly how good it is. The pose — grounded, still, almost meditative — suggests a warrior who doesn't need to posture. The webbed feet, the loose sleeves, the heavy-lidded focus: every detail rewards a closer look, whether you're painting it for your shelf or dropping it onto a hex map.
Whether you're playing in a swamp-bound campaign, a Feywild-adjacent setting, or a world where the usual fantasy conventions have been given a satisfying twist, this miniature brings genuine character to the table. Equally strong as an elite enemy, a wandering ronin NPC, or an unexpected player character stand-in for a Monk or Fighter build.
Perfect for adventurers who:- Want a memorable, unusual enemy to challenge their party in swampland or Feywild encounters
- Are building a samurai-themed or Eastern-inspired TTRPG campaign
- Play a Bullywug-adjacent character and want a miniature that does something different
- Love painting characterful humanoid minis with flowing cloth and interesting surface detail
- Collect display pieces that hold their own on any shelf
Encounter Hook:
The party finds a wanted notice nailed to a ferryman's post — crude illustration, frog-faced, robed, armed. The bounty is suspiciously high. Three miles into the marsh, they hear a single splash behind them and turn to find a bullywug samurai crouched on a half-submerged log, arms folded, watching them with the calm patience of someone who has already decided how this ends.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale — a great fit alongside standard D&D and TTRPG miniatures. Available with or without a plain black base; the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Support marks are removed before dispatch, though minor imperfections inherent to the printing process can occur — these are easily tidied up before priming. The miniature arrives fully cured and ready for paint or immediate use.
