- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Bullywugs are no mere swamp nuisances. These amphibian hunters are cunning, territorial, and utterly at home in the boggy margins where civilisation gives way to something older and wetter. This sculpt captures one mid-stalk: wide-set eyes locked on a target, muscular frame wrapped in ragged cloth and a worn leather belt, blowpipe shouldered and ready to loose a dart. The webbed feet are planted, the posture is deliberate — this Bullywug isn't reacting, it's hunting.
Whether you're running a Feywild campaign, a swamp-hex wilderness crawl, or a murky dungeon encounter, this miniature brings genuine menace to the table. It's equally at home on a painted display shelf as it is on a battlemat, and the character detail in the sculpt — from the heavy-set jaw to the bamboo blowpipe — rewards a careful painting session.
Well suited for adventurers who:
- Need a memorable Bullywug encounter beyond the basic stat block
- Are running swamp, Feywild, or river-delta campaigns
- Want a characterful low-to-mid CR enemy with real table presence
- Enjoy painting amphibian skin textures and worn cloth details
- Are building a display collection of D&D monsters and humanoids
Encounter Hook:
The party has been following the smuggler's route through Murkfen Bog for two days when the first dart whistles past the ranger's ear — and the surrounding reeds erupt with the deep, resonant croaking of a Bullywug hunting party that has been shadowing them since the last waymarker.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base is sent unattached and can be fixed easily with a small amount of glue. The miniature arrives ready for priming and painting, or can be used straight from the box. We quality-check every piece before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process can occasionally occur and are easily tidied up.
