Description

The ground trembles, the earth splits apart, and something vast and armoured surges upward — the Bulette has found its prey.

  • ✔ Multi-miniature bundle — multiple variations in one order
  • ✔ 32mm scale resin, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ All pieces supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Great value for building out encounter groups or display collections

The Bulette — the infamous landshark of D&D lore — is one of the most viscerally threatening creatures a Dungeon Master can drop into an encounter. Built like a siege engine wrapped in chitinous plate, it burrows through earth and stone with terrifying ease, erupting from the ground to shred through adventurers before they even draw their weapons. This bundle from Novaminis captures that raw, predatory energy across two distinct Tunneler sculpts, each one low-slung and coiled with muscular tension, jaws agape and claws splayed wide — ready to breach the surface at any moment.

Tunneler 01 brings a forward-facing, head-on charging pose that puts every row of serrated teeth on full display, with the Bulette's armoured dorsal plates visible from every angle — front, rear, side, and three-quarter. Tunneler 02 shifts the composition into a more oblique, close-range lunge, the enormous wedge-shaped skull angled low and the forelimbs spread wide, conveying the momentum of something that has just broken through solid rock. Both are rendered as high-detail digital renders in warm sandy resin tones, showing the creature's leathery skin texture, pronounced spinal ridges, and wickedly curved digging claws in crisp detail. Together they give Dungeon Masters genuine visual variety for lair ambushes, multi-Bulette encounters, or staging scenes across an entire underground hunting ground.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Run wilderness, plains, or underdark encounters where a landshark ambush would ruin someone's day
  • Want two distinct sculpt poses to represent a single Bulette at different stages of an attack
  • Are building a creature-heavy monster collection and want a centrepiece beast at 32mm scale
  • Paint and display large creature minis alongside their D&D 5e collection

Encounter Hook:
The party is three days into the Ashfeld Plains when the horses bolt — not from a sound, but from a vibration felt through the saddle. The farmstead ahead is half-collapsed, the stone walls punched inward from below. Then the grain field erupts: two tonnes of armoured predator launches from the furrow not ten feet away, and the rear one is still underground — you can hear it circling.

This bundle includes both Tunneler 01 and Tunneler 02 sculpts, offering a saving over purchasing each individually. Both minis are printed at 32mm scale. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming — a brilliant canvas for earth tones, rocky grey-blues, or the sandy browns of a desert-adapted Bulette. Some minor clean-up may be needed after support removal, as is standard with resin printing at this level of detail.
