Description

The ground trembles, the earth splits open, and something vast and armoured surges upward — teeth first.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Bulette is one of D&D's most viscerally terrifying creatures, and this sculpt from Novaminis captures everything that makes it so effective at the table. This is pose 01 of the Bulette Tunneler range — the creature low to the ground, weight forward on those thick, clawed forelegs, jaws parted wide in a display of serrated teeth. The armoured ridges along the spine fan outward like a dorsal fin breaking a surface, and the musculature across the shoulders and haunches reads as coiled tension rather than static bulk. Every angle of this sculpt rewards a second look: the leathery skin texture, the deep-set eyes, the proportions that sit somewhere between predator and siege weapon.

Whether you're placing it in a field encounter as a wandering apex predator or unleashing it as the centrepiece of an underground ambush, this miniature carries real table presence. It works equally well as a display piece — the dynamic crouching pose reads as movement frozen mid-lunge, which makes it as compelling on a shelf as it is on a battlemat.

Well suited for adventurers who:

  • Run D&D 5e wilderness or Underdark encounters and want a Bulette with genuine menace
  • Need a Large-scale monster miniature for boss encounters or environmental hazards
  • Enjoy painting characterful creatures with interesting skin and armour texture
  • Collect fantasy monsters for display alongside other iconic D&D beasts

Encounter Hook:
The merchant caravan has been silent for two days. When the party reaches the last campsite, they find overturned wagons, scattered coin, and a trail of earth trenches leading away from the road — each one six feet wide and perfectly straight, like something bored through the ground at speed. Then the nearest trench starts to move.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Some minor surface marks are possible as a natural part of the printing process; these are easily cleaned up before priming. Each piece is fully cured and ready for paint.
