Description

It doesn't stalk its prey from the shadows — it erupts through solid ground beneath them, all gnashing beak and armoured fury, a living siege weapon shaped like a nightmare.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Bulette is one of D&D's most iconic monstrosities — the so-called "landshark" — and this sculpt from La Louve 3D captures it in a brilliantly aggressive forward lunge. The beast's entire body is a study in geological menace: dense, cobblestone-textured hide covers every surface, bony ridges crown the skull, and that enormous hooked beak gapes wide as though mid-charge at something very unfortunate. The thick, claw-tipped limbs are braced low to the ground, tail sweeping back for balance, every line of the pose radiating momentum. It's a creature built for the moment just before the screaming starts.

This is pose 2 of our Bulette range — a variant sculpt from the same La Louve 3D release, offering a distinct silhouette for Dungeon Masters who want visual variety on the table or collectors building out a complete display.

A great addition for adventurers who:

  • Run wilderness, desert, or underground encounters in D&D 5e or other TTRPGs
  • Want a large, immediately recognisable monstrosity to anchor a combat scene
  • Collect iconic D&D creatures for display alongside their painted armies
  • Are looking for a centrepiece monster that rewards a detailed paint job

Encounter Hook:
The party's cart has just crossed the dry plain outside Dusthaven when the horses rear violently — and the ground twenty feet ahead begins to heave. Three tonnes of armoured predator shoulders through the earth like it's water, shaking soil from its plated hide, beak already angled towards the nearest warm body. The Bulette hasn't eaten in two days. It knows exactly how many people are standing there.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are separate pieces — some sculpts interact with their base in a way that genuinely enhances the finished piece, so we'd recommend using it. Minor surface marks from the printing process are possible; these are easily tidied up before priming. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or striking straight from the base coat.
