This is pose 03 of our Bugbear Smuggler range, and it captures a bugbear mid-lunge — low to the ground, one massive foot forward, a vicious spiked club thrust overhead in a crushing downward arc. The sculpt leans into the contradiction at the heart of every bugbear: the rough-stitched hood and layered traveller's cloak speak of someone who moves through cities and back-alleys unseen, while the sheer mass of the figure and that brutal weapon make it very clear what happens when the stealth fails. Cross-laced leggings, wrapped feet, and banded arm-guards round out a character who looks every inch the dangerous criminal muscle.
For Dungeon Masters, this bugbear slots naturally into goblinoid crime syndicates, dockside smuggling rings, or as the hired bruiser protecting a shipment the party absolutely shouldn't know about. Equally at home on a display shelf as on the encounter map — the dynamic pose rewards careful painting, especially on the deeply detailed club and the layered folds of the cloak.

Encounter Hook:
The party's informant goes quiet mid-sentence. A stool scrapes across the tavern floor. Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base is unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Each piece is quality-checked before dispatch; minor marks from support removal are possible but easily tidied up with light preparation. Fully cured and ready for priming and painting, or use straight out of the box.
