This is pose 2 of the Bugbear Smuggler range by Novaminis — and where pose 1 might be biding its time, this one has already made its decision. The Bugbear Smuggler 02 stands broad and menacing, a heavy spiked club hoisted over one shoulder in a posture that says he's used it before and isn't bothered about using it again. Braided hair frames a grinning, snarling face — equal parts confidence and contempt. His armour is a patchwork of studded leather, embossed plates, and riveted greaves; the look of someone who takes what they need and reinforces it until it holds. Talon-like spurs jut from his knees, and the ornamentation on his armour hints at an underworld organisation with its own brutal aesthetic.
Bugbears in the Monster Manual are Charisma-draining, ambush-specialist brutes — but this sculpt by Novaminis gives that stat block a personality. He reads as enforcer, bodyguard, or cartel muscle; equally useful as a recurring villain whose grin the party will come to dread, or as the very loud obstacle between them and whoever's pulling the strings. A genuinely characterful piece for both gaming and display.

Details
Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Every miniature comes with supports removed and is fully cured, ready for priming and painting straight out of the box. As with all resin printing, minor surface marks are occasionally possible; these are easily tidied up before painting.
