Description

He's not here to keep the peace — he's here to remind you who owns it.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Bugbears don't often end up in the city watch by accident. This one has clearly made himself useful to someone powerful, trading the shadows of the forest for the shadows of an alleyway. Armed with a massive maul rested across one shoulder and a dagger at his belt, he cuts an imposing figure in his padded armour and winged helmet — broad, bearded, and entirely unbothered by whatever you're about to try. One clenched fist hangs loose at his side. He won't need it.

This sculpt from MZ4250 captures that specific energy of a monster who's been domesticated just enough to follow orders, but not nearly enough to be safe. Whether you're running a corrupt city guard encounter, fleshing out a thieves' guild's muscle, or building a goblinoid faction with real presence on the table, this watchman earns his place immediately. He works equally well as a display piece for collectors who appreciate a characterful humanoid sculpt with genuine personality baked into the pose.

Brilliant for adventurers who:

  • Need a credible goblinoid enforcer or city guard NPC
  • Are running urban intrigue campaigns where the law is not your friend
  • Want a charismatic display piece that tells a story without a word
  • Are building out a goblinoid faction with varied sculpts

Encounter Hook:
The party enters the market district only to find the usual city guard replaced by bugbear watchmen — helmets gleaming, mauls resting on shoulders, eyes tracking every movement. Someone has paid very well for this arrangement, and the alderman who commissioned it is nowhere to be found.
