Bugbears occupy a brutish, commanding space in the goblinoid hierarchy — too cunning to be mere muscle, too savage to be trusted. This sculpt captures that tension with authority: a barrel-chested warrior standing tall at 39mm, clad in rough-hewn plate guards and a layered fur mantle that speaks to trophies taken rather than armour forged. A heavy chain hangs from one fist, bone fragments threaded through it like a weapon waiting for a reason. His lion-like face — bearded, tusked, and wearing an expression of contemptuous calm — suggests he's the one doing the ambushing, never the other way round.
The detail work across this miniature rewards careful painting: deep fur texture on the chest and feet, individual scale-like armour pieces on the shoulders, spiked pauldrons, and wrapped leather bindings on the lower legs. What's included:
This is Bugbear 04 from Yasashii Kyojin Studios, scaled at 39mm to the top of the sculpt — slightly larger than standard 32mm due to the creature's imposing stature. Available with or without a plain black base; if selected, the base arrives unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Some minor marks from support removal may occasionally be present — these are easily tidied up before priming.
