Rapunzel the Mad is no longer the prisoner of the tower — she is something far more dangerous. This sculpt from DM Stash's Tales Grimm collection captures the Broken Princess mid-ascent, her body lifted aloft by a vast, swirling mass of enchanted hair that coils and surges around her like a living creature. Her tattered dress billows, her bare feet trail beneath her, and her raised arms suggest a figure on the edge between rapture and fury.

The detail throughout is extraordinary — the individual strands of hair are rendered with genuine sculptural care, layering in waves and curls that sweep from the cracked stone base upward in a dramatic S-curve. The ragged hem of her gown, the lace trim at her collar, and the corded bindings at her waist all speak to a woman who was once dressed as a princess and is now something far harder to name. Her expression, just visible beneath the cascade of hair, is not serene — it is wild.

The decorative scenic base, depicting cracked flagstones, ties the piece to a gothic, fairy-tale setting and gives the swirling hair composition a grounded anchor. Suitable for use as a BBEG, a tragic cursed NPC, or an unhinged sorcerer archetype, she also makes a genuinely compelling display piece for adventurers who paint.

  • A Dungeon Master running a dark reimagining of fairy tales, folklore, or the Feywild
  • Adventurers who want a showpiece villain with a distinctive, immediately readable silhouette
  • Painters looking for an expressive, dynamic sculpt with exceptional hair and fabric detail
  • Players building a chaotic sorcerer or wild magic character with a haunted backstory

Encounter Hook
The party follows rumours of a witch haunting the old tower on the Mirenvast road — but when they arrive, the tower is gone, reduced to rubble, and a figure hangs suspended thirty feet above the ruins. Her hair moves like a tide, and she has already noticed them. She speaks, but the words come out wrong, looping back on themselves like a song half-remembered. The Wisdom save is DC 17. Good luck.
