This is pose 04 of the Brave Warrior range by Great Grimoire. The sculpt depicts a lean, battle-hardened fighter caught mid-stance: one sword extended and ready, the second gripped at his side, his flowing cape swept back and clasped at the collar with a circular brooch. His face bears an eyepatch — the mark of a man who's survived something most haven't — and his cropped hair and composed expression speak to a warrior who has long since made peace with danger. Loose trousers, layered wraps at the legs, and soft boots give him the look of a wandering swordsman rather than a soldier — a duelist, a sellsword, or perhaps a disgraced knight travelling under a new name.

For Dungeon Masters, this miniature reads immediately as someone with a past. For players, he's a compelling vessel for a Fighter, Ranger, or Rogue with a rich backstory. Whether painted in muted road-worn tones or bold faction colours, he commands the table with quiet authority.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Want a dual-wielding Fighter, Ranger, or Rogue player character
  • Need a memorable NPC rival, mercenary contact, or morally ambiguous ally
  • Are building an encounter around a lone swordsman with a complicated history
  • Collect characterful human warriors for display or campaign use

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at a remote waystation to find a one-eyed swordsman already seated by the fire — he knows their employer's name, he hasn't explained why, and his two blades are resting just a little too close to hand for comfort.
