Description

Before the party could retreat, the cavern floor buckled upward — and something ancient, angry, and made entirely of stone hauled itself to its feet.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Bourdeling is a compact powerhouse of living rock: wide-shouldered, heavy-footed, and deceptively stubborn for something without a face. With its layered stone hide, hollow socket eyes, and a stance that says it has been standing in this cave for several hundred years and sees no reason to stop now, this is a creature that belongs in the deepest reaches of the earth — or wherever your Dungeon Master decides the ground needs to start fighting back.

Scaled at 32mm, this sculpt captures that distinctive blend of menace and grumpiness that makes elemental creatures such compelling encounters. The stacked, angular stonework across the torso and limbs paints it as something formed rather than born — a guardian, a hazard, or perhaps just a very territorial boulder that got ideas above its station. Whether you paint it in dusty sandstone, volcanic basalt, or mossy granite, there is a wealth of texture here for painters to explore.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run earth-themed dungeons, mines, or elemental plane encounters
  • Need a mid-tier elemental creature that reads as threatening without towering over the table
  • Want a characterful addition to a display shelf or diorama alongside other elemental sculpts
  • Enjoy painting highly textured stone surfaces with layered dry-brushing and washes

Encounter Hook:
The mining guild swore the old shaft was clear — but three survey teams have gone silent in a week. When the party descends, they find the tunnels undisturbed, the tools still laid out, and every last scrap of stone dust swept into neat, deliberate piles. Something down here is territorial. Something down here has been counting the intruders. And right now, it is counting them.
