Description

Somewhere beneath a crumbling tower, a wizard's life's work lies scattered across the flagstones — and someone has been through it in a hurry.

  • ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

This Book Pile scatter terrain piece captures the organised chaos of a scholar's obsession: stacks of thick tomes embossed with runic script, bundles of manuscripts tied with cord, and loose volumes splayed open across a detailed cobblestone base. The level of detail in each spine and binding makes this a genuinely characterful addition to any dungeon room, arcane study, or ruined library — whether on the table during play or displayed on a shelf.

At 32mm scale, this piece sits comfortably alongside character miniatures and adds immediate environmental storytelling to your scenes. It's equally at home in a wizard's tower, a temple scriptorium, an underground archive, or the aftermath of a hasty burglary.

Useful for adventurers who:

  • Want to add lived-in detail and atmosphere to dungeon or urban encounters
  • Are building a wizard's study, library, or arcane laboratory scene
  • Need scatter terrain that doubles as cover or an interactive prop
  • Enjoy painting and basing detailed terrain for dioramas or display

Encounter Hook:
The party has been sent to recover a specific volume from the late archivist's chambers — but when they arrive, the books have been ransacked. Three stacks remain, each filled with coded entries, and only one holds the page they need. The wizard is already sweating. The rogue is already pocketing things. The clock is ticking.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale on a detailed cobblestone base. This piece arrives as a single assembly, base included. Ready for priming and painting straight away, or use as-is for an unpainted aesthetic — either works on the table.
