Description

Born from a failed lich transformation, the boneclaw is what happens when dark ambition meets a soul too wicked even for undeath to honour properly — a towering, skeletal horror whose elongated bone claws can pierce walls, armour, and hope in equal measure.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This miniature from Monster Atlas captures the boneclaw in unmistakable form: a gaunt, exposed ribcage torso rising from tattered robes, its grotesque multi-jointed claw arms sweeping outward in wide, threatening arcs. The skull-crowned head is thrown back in a silent scream, jaw agape, lending the sculpt a raw ferocity that reads clearly from across a gaming table. Wisp-like tendrils curl at the base, hinting at the necrotic energy that binds this creature to the mortal world. Three distinct images show the miniature from different angles — front, side, and rear — all rendered as unpainted grey resin digital renders, showcasing the sculpt's exceptional surface detail and dynamic silhouette.

Whether you're statting it out as a CR 12 threat in a necromancer's sanctum or displaying it as a centrepiece on a horror-themed shelf, this miniature commands attention from every angle. It scales at 32mm and arrives with a decorative scenic base that complements the flowing robes and tendril details — the two interact closely, so we recommend attaching them for the full effect.

Well suited to adventurers who:

  • Run undead-heavy campaigns rooted in necromantic lore or Ravenloft-adjacent horror
  • Need a physically imposing Boss Monster to anchor a climactic encounter
  • Enjoy painting high-detail creature sculpts with dramatic skeletal and cloth textures
  • Collect display-quality undead miniatures for horror or dark fantasy shelves

Encounter Hook:
The party discovers the lich's phylactery chamber — but the ritual was botched decades ago. The would-be lich never ascended. Instead, it paces endlessly in the dark below, a boneclaw too filled with rage to lie still, guarding a prize it no longer remembers wanting.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are separate pieces, attached with super glue. The base is sculpted to interact with the model's robes and tendril details, so fitting them together is recommended. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or for use straight from the box. Supports are removed prior to dispatch; as with all high-detail resin sculpts, minor marks may occasionally remain and can be tidied with a hobby knife.
