This is Skull Pile 02 from Novaminis, the second variation in their skull pile scatter terrain range. Where the first pile is more irregular and tumbled, this one forms a deliberate pyramid — dozens of hollow-eyed skulls stacked with almost ritualistic intent, rising to a grim apex. It's the kind of grisly landmark that speaks of conquest, dark magic, or a long-abandoned lair where something terrible once lived. On the tabletop, it demands a story.

Whether you're dressing a necromancer's sanctum, marking the territory of a death cult, or simply adding grim atmosphere to a dungeon corridor, this piece earns its place. Encounter Hook:
The party finds the cave entrance unmarked on any map — except for the pyramid of skulls arranged just inside the threshold, forty-three of them by the rogue's count, each one facing outward. The cleric's divine sense flares. The skulls are not undead. They are a warning from something that is.

Scaled to 32mm and suited to D&D 5e, Pathfinder, and most fantasy TTRPG systems. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. This is an unpainted piece, arriving ready for priming and painting, though it looks striking straight from the box as a natural-toned scatter piece. Minor imperfections from the printing process are possible; any residual support marks are easily cleaned up.
