This Bog Druid is a genuinely extraordinary sculpt: a stout, hooded figure whose very body appears to be part of the wetland ecosystem. A dramatic crown of blooming flowers and broad leaves erupts from the hood, while the cloak itself is textured with dense moss and lichen. Two small birds perch contentedly on the figure — one atop a gnarled, twisting wooden staff, another resting on the druid's outstretched hand. The face, partially obscured within the deep cowl, is a mask of aged bark. Every surface tells a story of centuries spent communing with bog and root.
The detailed scenic base — scattered stones, earth, and decorative runic border — grounds the piece firmly in the wild places between civilisation and the unknown. Whether you're fielding this as a player character circle druid or a mysterious NPC whose motives the party can't quite read, this sculpt carries enormous narrative weight. It paints up brilliantly for display or sits just as powerfully in its raw form on the tabletop.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Play or DM druid characters, particularly Circle of the Land or Circle of Spores
- Want a memorable quest-giver hidden deep within a swamp or ancient forest
- Are building a nature-themed TTRPG campaign with vivid faction leaders
- Collect display-scale miniatures for painting and showcase
- Need a morally ambiguous NPC whose allegiances are entirely their own
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to find a missing herbalist last seen gathering rare bog-blooms near the Mirewood Fen. Three days in, as the mist thickens and their compass starts spinning, a squat figure emerges from the water's edge — birds at rest on staff and hand, flowers blooming from beneath its hood as if growing in real time. It speaks slowly, in a voice like reeds. It knows why they're here. It knew before they did.
Details
This miniature is printed at 32mm scale for standard tabletop use, with a display-scale option available sized for a 4×4 base. The base is included and can be attached with superglue. Some models arrive in multiple pieces for ease of assembly — again, superglue does the job neatly. Supports are removed before dispatch, and each piece goes through quality checking, though minor marks from the printing process are possible and straightforward to clean up before priming.
