Description

Somewhere between the shifting chaos of Limbo and the material plane, a Blue Slaad has slipped through — and it is very, very hungry.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 01 of our Blue Slaad range, sculpted by Novaminis. The miniature captures a Blue Slaad mid-lunge: barrel-chested and low to the ground, its spine bristling with bony protrusions, and both clawed hands splayed wide as though reaching for the nearest unfortunate party member. The sculpt leans into the creature's unsettling physicality — warty, asymmetrical flesh, hooked talons on each digit, and a hunched gait that reads as equal parts predatory and wrong. From every angle, this thing looks like it wants to claw something.

Blue Slaadi are among the more straightforwardly dangerous of their kin — less interested in scheming than in tearing, infecting, and moving on. On the table, they make superb mid-tier threats, unpredictable wandering dangers, or the first sign that something has gone very badly wrong with a planar seal. For DMs running anything touching on Limbo, the Far Realm's neighbours, or chaotic outsider incursions, this sculpt earns its place on the encounter map immediately.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Run planar-themed D&D 5e or OSR campaigns and need a credible chaotic outsider
  • Want a mid-tier monster that reads as genuinely threatening on the table
  • Are building an encounter involving Slaadi infection, chaos rifts, or Limbo-touched locations
  • Collect and paint creature minis for display — the surface texture rewards a wash-and-drybrush approach beautifully

Encounter Hook:
The patrol went silent three hours ago. When the party reaches the checkpoint, they find the stones scored with deep parallel gouges — four lines, spaced wide, dragged low across the rock. The duty roster is still pinned to the post. One name has been crossed out and replaced, in shaky handwriting, with a single word: changed.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. The miniature arrives ready for priming and painting, or can be used straight from the box. We quality-check every piece before dispatch, though minor marks from support removal are an occasional reality of the process and can be tidied up easily.
