This is the third sculpt in Novaminis' Blue Dragon Wyrmling series, and it carries the series' signature ferocity to a new level of energy. The wyrmling is captured mid-lunge — weight shifting onto its haunches, clawed forelimbs raised and spread wide, wings flung open in a full threat display. The posture reads somewhere between ambush predator coiling to strike and a young dragon that has absolutely not yet learned fear. Every scale, membrane fold, and talon carries the detail Novaminis are known for across their "Monsters with Character" range.

The sculpt rewards painters at any level. Broad wing membranes offer generous surface area for OSL or freehand lightning effects, while the layered scale texture across the body gives plenty of purchase for drybrushing and washes. The facial expression — jaws wide, brow ridges furrowed — is specific enough to photograph beautifully once painted, making this equally compelling as a gaming piece or a display model on the shelf.

This variation (03) presents the wyrmling in its most overtly aggressive stance of the series, which makes it a natural choice for the moment your players first catch sight of something winged and electric on the horizon — and realise they may have made a terrible navigational error.
