Bloodhunter Captain (Gaius) by DM Stash
Description
He has carved his name into the battlefield with a blade as wide as a man's torso — and the runes etched into its face suggest the killing is far from over.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Gaius, the Bloodhunter Captain, is a warrior who looks like he was forged rather than born. This sculpt captures him in a wide, braced stance — knees bent, weight forward, both hands gripping an enormous flat-bladed greatsword covered in carved runes. His wild hair and stripped torso speak to barely-contained violence, while the chainmail draped across one shoulder and the woven bracers and greaves suggest a soldier who's fought long enough to care about protection, but not enough to slow down. The rocky terrain base grounds him mid-combat, as though the ground itself is struggling to hold him.
At 32mm scale, the detail on this sculpt is exceptional — from the individual links of his chainmail shoulder piece, to the texture of his woven armour panels, to the expressive runes along the greatsword's flat. He works equally well as a Player Character for a Fighter or Barbarian build, or as a fearsome rival, faction commander, or mid-campaign boss that your players will absolutely remember meeting.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Want a physically imposing frontline warrior with genuine character and visual weight
- Are building a Fighter, Barbarian, or Blood Hunter PC with a distinctive look
- Need a named NPC — a rival captain, mercenary leader, or antagonist with presence
- Collect detailed character sculpts for painting or display as well as play
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve a stolen relic from a rival guild — but when they breach the inner sanctum, they find Gaius already there, greatsword drawn and runes glowing faintly, standing over the body of the guild master. He looks up slowly. "You're late," he says. "I was hoping you'd arrive before I had to start without you."
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale with a detailed rocky terrain base as a separate piece — a small amount of superglue is all that's needed to attach it. The base integrates naturally with the sculpt's pose. Arrives unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or display as grey resin straight from the box.
