This imposing figure is the Blood Moon Shaman by Great Grimoire — a hunched, feather-cloaked kenku elder dripping with dark ritual authority. His broad frame is wrapped in layered feathers and a heavy travelling cloak, while runic tablets hang from a belt of carved bones around his waist. A gnarled staff clutched in one taloned hand is topped with a branching crown of bones, a live crow perched at its peak — whether familiar, herald, or omen is for your table to decide. A skull amulet rests at his throat, and the hollow expression on his avian face suggests he has bargained with things far older than any civilised god.
This sculpt carries serious weight as a boss monster, a rival shaman, or a morally ambiguous quest-giver sitting at the crossroads between the living world and whatever lies beyond it. Equally at home in a Ravenloft campaign or a grimdark homebrew setting, he would also make a compelling player character miniature for a kenku warlock or druid with a darker patron.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a kenku shaman, elder, or spirit-talker for their campaign
- Are running a blood moon event, necromantic cult, or tribal faction arc
- Want a kenku warlock or druid player character with genuine visual menace
- Collect birdfolk miniatures or striking display pieces
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the edge of the Ashwood to find the treeline strewn with crow feathers and the corpses of three mercenaries — each with their eyes ritually removed. At the centre of the clearing, crouched over a fire of blue-white flame, the Blood Moon Shaman turns slowly and says, in a voice that sounds like every voice he has ever stolen: "You are late. The moon has already been paid."
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The base comes separate and can be attached with a small amount of glue — choose from a decorative sculpted base or a plain black base at checkout. Each miniature is printed to a high level of detail; supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks may occasionally remain and are easily tidied up before priming. Every piece is fully cured and ready to paint or display straight from the box.
