Description

Behind the hood, where the light of a corrupted sun should illuminate a face, there is only shadow — and the faint gleam of something that was once human.

  • ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
  • ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions

Ket'thurac Kret is not a mage who asks permission. Crowned with a spiked solar halo that radiates power and menace in equal measure, this hooded figure wears their corruption like armour — draped in richly textured robes that billow as though caught in a wind that answers only to them. The skull-like visage lurking beneath that deep cowl hints at a practitioner who has traded something fundamental for their art, and has no intention of explaining what. Ornate pauldrons and a medallion-clasped robe speak of former station; the void where a face should be speaks of what came after.

As a display bust, Ket'thurac Kret is sculpted to reward the painter's eye — every fold of that heavy linen cloak, every spike of the solar crown, and the eerie hollow of the hood offer distinct surfaces and textures to work with. Mounted on a decorative geometric plinth with engraved borders, this piece holds its own as a finished centrepiece on any shelf, paint station, or gaming table.

A brilliant choice for adventurers who:

  • Want a detailed, ambitious bust to showcase their painting skills
  • Are building a curated collection of fantasy display pieces
  • Need visual inspiration for a BBEG, shadowy patron, or cursed NPC
  • Love lore-heavy sculpts with mystery baked into the design

Encounter Hook:
The players receive a summons — not a letter, but a burning brand that appears overnight on each of their forearms. When they follow it to a ruined solar temple at the edge of the desert, they find Ket'thurac Kret waiting in the nave, face hidden, the halo above their head casting no warmth whatsoever. "I didn't call you here," the blood mage says. "Which means something else did. Using my seal." A beat of silence. "That is a problem for both of us."

Details

This is a display bust, sculpted at a scale suited to painters and collectors rather than standard tabletop combat use. It arrives unpainted and ready for priming. Supports are removed before dispatch, and each piece is quality checked — minor surface marks from the print process are possible and can be dressed out with standard modelling tools.
