Description
The scouts spoke of a creature with no head — just a gaping, tooth-lined mouth where its chest should be, swinging a bone club the size of a man, and wearing the pelts of things it had already eaten.

- ✔ 32mm scale resin, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ All pieces supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Great value for building out encounter groups or display collections
The Blemmyes is one of fantasy's most unsettling monstrosities — a hulking, barrel-chested brute whose face is a wide, slavering mouth set directly into its torso. This bundle gives you both the plain base and decorative base versions of the same sculpt, so you can choose whichever suits your table or your display shelf.
The sculpt captures the creature mid-stance, one fist balled at its side and a thick wooden club raised in its other hand. Its body is wrapped in a feathered or leafy hide skirt bound with rope, and its wrists and ankles are adorned with crude braided bindings — the trappings of a tribal warrior that has never needed civilisation's gifts. The scenic base shows the creature with one foot resting atop a rocky outcrop, partly covered in scaled hide or tail — a territorial declaration as much as a pose. Every surface is rich with detail: the texture of the pelt, the grain of the club, the single unblinking eye set above that horrifying mouth.
Whether you paint it as a jungle abomination, a wandering horror from some forgotten wilderness, or a corrupted creature pressed into service by a darker power, the Blemmyes works equally well as a mid-tier encounter monster or a striking piece on a display shelf.
Well suited for adventurers who:
- Run wilderness or jungle hex-crawl campaigns that need genuinely unsettling creature encounters
- Want a large, impactful monster that reads immediately as a threat without needing context
- Are building out a display collection of classic fantasy monstrosities
- Love painting textured fur, hide, and rough-hewn weapons
Encounter Hook: The party has been hired to investigate a series of disappearances along a trade road cutting through dense jungle terrain. Arriving at the last known campsite, they find a wagon overturned and a massive club-shaped depression in the mud — and then the Blemmyes steps out of the treeline, already raising its weapon, drawn by the smell of fresh travellers.
