In the wild reaches beyond the known world, the Blemmye needs no face to express its fury — the coiled tension of its massive frame and the spear raised overhead say everything that needs to be said.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Blemmye is one of those creatures that unsettles players before a single die is rolled. A powerfully built humanoid with no head — its grotesque face set directly into its chest — this variant (02) captures the monster at the peak of its aggression: torso twisted, spear arm wrenched back and high, claws of the free hand splayed and grasping. Every muscle in the sculpt is engaged. This is not a creature that hesitates.
The detail across the body is genuinely impressive — corded muscle definition, rough loincloth wrappings, bound wrist cuffs, and clawed feet planted wide in a throwing stance. The face embedded in the chest is rendered with ferocious expression: wide-set eyes, snarling tusked mouth, deeply furrowed brow. From the front you see the full threat of it; from the rear, the sculpt reveals an equally strong back and the full dramatic arc of the spear overhead.
This is the second pose in the Blemmye range — where a different variant might show a more static or charging stance, this one is all kinetic energy and raw throwing power. If you're building out a Blemmye warband, the two poses complement each other well across a tabletop encounter.
This miniature suits adventurers who:
- Run wilderness or tribal encounter tables with unusual humanoid monsters
- Want a creature that will genuinely unsettle players who've never faced one before
- Are building a display piece around folklore-inspired monsters
- Need a large, visually distinct brute to anchor a combat scene
- Collect from Yasashii Kyojin Studios' expansive monster range
Encounter Hook: The party has been tracking a missing shepherd into the highland scrubland for two days. At dawn on the third, they hear something heavy moving through the gorse — and then a spear punches through the undergrowth and buries itself in the earth three feet from the ranger's boot. A Blemmye steps into the clearing, chest-face snarling, claws wide. It is not alone.
