Description

It doesn't growl, it doesn't charge — it simply spreads, slow and inexorable, dissolving everything it touches into nothing.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Black Pudding is one of D&D's most unsettling dungeon hazards — not a creature of fury or malice, but of mindless, corrosive hunger. This sculpt captures that perfectly: a heaving, bubble-textured mass of dark matter erupting from the dungeon floor, with long whip-like pseudopods arcing outward in every direction. The surface detail is extraordinary — every pustule, ridge, and slick curve reads clearly at 32mm scale, making this a genuine centrepiece for any encounter involving the Underdark or deep dungeon crawl.

For Dungeon Masters, the Black Pudding offers something rare: a monster that terrifies through mechanics as much as appearance. It splits when struck with slashing weapons, dissolves metal armour and wooden weapons on contact, and oozes through gaps no party member could follow. Drop this on the table and watch your players immediately start arguing about what they're holding.

Brilliant for adventurers who:

  • Run deep dungeon or Underdark encounters and want a genuinely threatening ooze on the table
  • Need a monster that punishes overconfident fighters and sword-happy rogues
  • Are building a display collection of classic D&D monsters from the Monster Manual
  • Love painting slimy, wet, or reflective textures — this sculpt rewards every technique

Encounter Hook:
The party's torchlight catches a faint shimmer on the dungeon wall — and then the wall moves. The iron door ahead is already half dissolved, the hinges pooled into slag on the flagstones. Whatever stripped this room bare is still here, and it just noticed the party's metal armour.
