Description

Even a wyrmling is dangerous — and this one hasn't yet learned patience.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Black dragons are among the most vicious of chromatic dragons, and their wyrmlings inherit every ounce of that cruelty from birth. This terrestrial sculpt captures the creature mid-threat display: wings spread wide, jaws parted to reveal rows of serrated teeth, one wing raised in an aggressive flourish as the tail whips upward behind it. The clawed forelimbs are braced against the ground as though the creature is about to launch forward — or unleash a line of corrosive acid on whoever was foolish enough to get close. The detail on the wing membranes, chest scales, and horned skull is sharp and well-defined throughout.

This is the terrestrial pose from the MZ4250 Black Dragon Wyrmling range — grounded, aggressive, and well-suited to placing directly on your encounter map. Whether you're running a swamp lair, a ruined keep, or a dungeon chamber where something young and very angry has taken up residence, this sculpt brings genuine menace to the table. It works equally well as a painted display piece on a shelf — the dynamic pose gives painters plenty of surface variety to work with.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a credible early-to-mid campaign draconic threat for D&D 5e or other TTRPG systems
  • Are building a swamp, ruin, or Underdark encounter with a wyrmling as a key encounter piece
  • Want a display-worthy dragon sculpt at a manageable size
  • Are collecting the full MZ4250 dragon range

Encounter Hook:
The party tracks a series of livestock disappearances to a collapsed mill at the edge of the fens — inside, curled atop a nest of dissolving copper coins and corroded bones, a black wyrmling raises its head and opens its jaws. It has been here for three months. It intends to stay.
