This is pose 02 of the Black Dragon Wyrmling range from Novaminis, and it captures the creature mid-challenge: wings spread wide, jaws gaping, one clawed foreleg raised as though daring anything nearby to move. The sculpt is rich with detail — rows of dorsal spines running the length of the spine, deeply textured leathery wings with articulated finger-bones, and a face full of needle teeth and hollow, predatory eyes. Every surface speaks to the creature's nature: wiry, aggressive, already corrupted by the same acid and spite that defines its elders.
Black dragon wyrmlings in D&D 5e haunt fetid swamps and crumbling ruins, hoarding what little they can while nursing grievances that will last lifetimes. They're not mindless brutes — they're calculating, territorial, and deeply unpleasant company. Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks may occasionally occur and are easily tidied up. Fully cured and ready to prime and paint, or to use straight from the box.
