Ancient Black Dragons are among the most feared creatures in the D&D monster manual — and this sculpt by Epic Miniatures captures exactly why. This is a Gargantuan-scale miniature seated on a 102mm base, which means it commands the table the moment it hits the surface. Wings spread wide, each membrane taut between long articulated finger-bones, the dragon rears on its haunches with its crested, spike-ringed head thrust forward — jaw set, eyes sunken and pitiless.

The surface detail is exceptional throughout. Overlapping scale plates transition from fine facial scales around the skull to broad, ridged body armour along the torso and underbelly. A jagged spinal crest runs from the skull down the length of the neck, and that whip-thin tail coils behind the hindquarters with a serrated ridge along its upper edge.
