Description

They say you can always tell when a birdfolk bard enters town — the music starts before you see them, carried on the wind like a spell half-cast.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This characterful miniature from Mia Kay M3DM depicts a birdfolk bard mid-performance, lute held close and clawed feet planted wide on a textured rocky base. The sculpt captures that particular energy of a performer who knows exactly how good they are — wide-brimmed hat adorned with a long feather, layered travelling clothes with a distinctive triangular satchel at the hip, and an expression of focused intensity in that sharp avian beak. The detail on the lute itself is worth noting: finely carved scroll work on the body and clearly defined tuning pegs that reward a careful brush.

Whether you're building out a Kenku bard PC, a charismatic NPC street musician with secrets, or a rival who keeps showing up at the worst possible moments, this sculpt carries real narrative weight both on the battlemat and on the display shelf.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Are playing or DMing a birdfolk or Kenku bard character
  • Need a memorable travelling musician NPC or quest-giver
  • Want a character mini that tells a story before a single die is rolled
  • Collect avian or humanoid fantasy minis for display

Encounter Hook:
The party hears the music before they reach the crossroads — a lute melody that seems to echo strangely, as if played twice at once. Perched atop a milestone stone, a birdfolk bard strums on without acknowledging them, until one note resolves into unmistakable words: "I've been waiting for you. Sit down — this next part is about you."
