This is no ordinary lich. Fused with arcane mechanisms that defy natural law, this undead horror has transcended mere lichdom and rebuilt itself into something entirely its own. Exposed ribcage, articulated mechanical wings spread wide like the arms of a dark cathedral, and serpentine conduits coiling around its robed form — this sculpt commands presence. A halo of interlocking geometric lattices frames a screaming skeletal visage, while skulls and tendrils spill across the base beneath its billowing, tattered robes. This is a creature that did not simply refuse to die — it redesigned death entirely.
For Dungeon Masters, this miniature carries enormous narrative weight. It reads immediately as a final-boss villain: an arcane intellect so ancient and so corrupted that mortal comprehension barely touches the edges of what it has become. Whether you're running a gothic horror arc, a plane-hopping campaign, or a descent into a necrotic dungeon complex, this sculpt earns its place at the table. For collectors and painters, the layered mechanical detail — the latticed wing frames, the coiling tubes, the exposed chest cavity — offers a genuinely rewarding project with real depth at every scale.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a campaign-defining villain with immediate visual authority
- Are building a Ravenloft, undead dungeon, or arcane horror encounter
- Want a display piece that rewards close inspection
- Enjoy a challenging and deeply detailed painting project
- Collect iconic undead creatures from across TTRPG lore
Encounter Hook:
The party's locate object spell leads them not to the stolen phylactery — but to a cathedral of still-beating clockwork hearts suspended in a vast mechanical web, each one powering a different undead thrall across the city above. At the centre of it all, the Biomechanical Lich opens its eyes for the first time in forty years. It has been expecting them.
Details
This miniature is printed at 32mm scale and arrives ready for priming and painting. The model with a detailed base comes as a single piece attached to the base. The model with a plain base is supplied with the base detached for easy gluing. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all high-detail resin work, minor marks may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up.
