The Biomechanical Lich is unlike anything your players will have faced before. Where a traditional lich merely persists beyond death, this entity has transcended it — its exposed ribcage housing a lattice of impossible mechanisms, its skeletal face frozen in a grinning rictus, long hair cascading over a form that is equal parts cadaver and dark arcanist's masterwork. A massive geometric halo of bone-like armatures radiates behind it, and tendrils coil across the base, coiling around scattered skulls as if this creature has simply grown into its throne of corpses.
This is the wingless variant, presenting the lich in its full frontal grandeur — arms outstretched, clawed hands poised to channel something ancient and deeply unpleasant. It stands as an extraordinary centrepiece for a climactic campaign encounter, and makes an equally compelling display piece for any collector drawn to the darker end of fantasy design. Printed at 32mm scale with exceptional detail throughout — from the intricate star-burst halo to the coiling tendrils at its feet.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a campaign-ending lich villain with a genuinely distinct visual identity
- Are running Ravenloft, homebrew undead kingdoms, or arcane-horror story arcs
- Want a display piece that sits apart from conventional undead miniatures
- Enjoy painting complex, layered sculpts with rich textural variety
Encounter Hook:
The party follows the trail of a missing archmage into a sealed tower — and finds him, or what remains of him, suspended at the centre of a rotating geometric array, his body fused to the machinery of something that has been watching the door since they arrived.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The model comes with a detailed scenic base featuring coiling tendrils and scattered skulls. It arrives ready for priming and painting, or can be used straight from the box. As with all hand-finished resin pieces, minor support marks may occasionally be present — these are easily cleaned up with a fine file or sandpaper.
