This is the second pose in our Big Gnoll range from Galaad Miniatures, and where pose one might hang back, this one is already committed. Hunched forward in a low, aggressive stance, this gnoll warrior thrusts a heavy-shafted spear ahead of him with both clawed hands, his scarred muzzle pulled into a feral snarl. Patchwork armour — angular shoulder guards, layered bracers, and tightly wrapped leg bindings — speaks to a creature that scavenges its protection from fallen enemies and wears it with savage pride. A wild tuft of pale fur crowns his head, his blind or scarred left eye adding a grim history you'll want your players to feel the moment he appears on the board.
Whether you're fielding him as a veteran gnoll warrior, a Yeenoghu cultist's enforcer, or the toughest grunt in a hyena warband, this sculpt has the presence to carry a whole encounter on its own. Off the board, the level of surface detail — from the wrapped leather strappings to the texture of his fur — makes him a rewarding project for painters too.

Encounter Hook:
The merchant convoy was supposed to reach Thornhaven by nightfall. Instead, the party finds one overturned cart, two sets of drag marks leading into the treeline, and a single gnoll standing motionless in the road ahead — spear held low, waiting to see if they'll run. The others are already flanking through the brush.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces, best joined with superglue — some sculpts interact with their base in ways that reward keeping them together. The miniature arrives unpainted and ready for primer, with supports removed. As with all hand-checked prints, minor marks are occasionally possible and easily tidied up.
