This is no lumbering brute stumbling blindly through the snow. The Bigfoot Yeti by Epic Miniatures is a large-scale creature sculpt bristling with menace — a towering, goat-horned beast covered in dense, layered fur, its muscular frame lowered into a wide combat stance, one arm raised and claws splayed as though daring the party to come closer. The detail across the fur texture is exceptional, with deep directional strands swept across the body, shoulders, and limbs in a way that rewards careful painting with washes and drybrushing.
The face carries genuine character — a lion-like muzzle with a heavy brow, sharp eyes, and two long spiralling horns sweeping back and upward. A secondary tail-like appendage curls at the lower back, and the feet end in thick taloned toes gripping the ground. This is a large-sized sculpt, notably bigger than a standard 32mm hero, and will make a commanding presence at the centre of any encounter map or display shelf.
The render shows two views: a front-facing combat pose and a smaller rear three-quarter reference shot, with a d20 included for scale — confirming this creature towers well above standard miniatures. The sculpt is marked as pre-supported, making it well suited to clean high-detail resin printing.
A good match for adventurers who:
- Run arctic, wilderness, or mountain region encounters
- Need a large-sized creature to challenge a mid-to-high level party
- Want a horned beast that reads as unique — not a standard owlbear or troll
- Are building a cryptid-themed encounter or monster hunter campaign
- Collect large creature sculpts for display as well as play
Encounter Hook: The village of Coldwater has lost three hunters to something in the ridge forest. When the party investigates, they find enormous clawed tracks leading to a frozen cave mouth — and inside, a nest of gnawed bones arranged with unsettling deliberateness. Whatever made this den is not mindless. And it heard them arrive.
