Betsy Bun is the kind of NPC that quietly steals the session. Clutching a freshly baked loaf in one hand and a wicker basket brimming with more in the other, she's every village baker's daughter, market-day errand runner, and surprisingly reliable rumour-carrier rolled into one small, apron-tied figure. Her simple linen dress, neatly bow-tied at the back, and her open, curious expression speak to a character utterly at home in a bustling market town — but DMs who look closely will notice those wide eyes miss nothing.
Whether she's the innkeeper's daughter slipping the party a coded note tucked inside a loaf, a key witness to something she really shouldn't have seen, or simply the warmest piece of environmental storytelling your village market has ever had, Betsy rewards the adventurers who take a moment to talk to her. She's equally at home on a fantasy diorama shelf as she is at the table mid-session.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Want to populate a village, market, or town with believable civilian NPCs
- Need a quest-giver, witness, or plot-hook character with real visual personality
- Are building a Waterdeep, Phandalin, or homebrew settlement encounter
- Collect townsfolk and civilian miniatures for immersive worldbuilding
- Enjoy painting expressive character pieces with warm, everyday detail
Encounter Hook:
The party has been asking around the village about the missing merchant — nobody seems to know anything. But as they pass the baker's stall, a girl with a basket of loaves catches the rogue's eye, glances toward the old mill, then looks pointedly away. She hasn't said a word. She doesn't need to.

What's included:
Betsy Bun is printed at 32mm scale (the original sculpt is designed at 35mm — if you'd prefer a different scale, just send us a message and we'll do our best to accommodate). A plain black base is included; a decorative base option is also available — if you choose this, please drop us a note letting us know which of the three base styles you'd like. The base arrives separate and can be attached easily with a little glue. Supports are removed before despatch, though minor marks from the printing process can occasionally occur and are easily tidied up with light sanding.

Mitz & Simz — the cats failed their Strength check to open the door but passed their Presence check to make it everyone else's problem.
