Description

Before the party even saw it, they heard it — a low, resonant hiss that seemed to come from the cave walls themselves, and then twelve legs hit the stone at once.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Behir is one of the most distinctive threats a Dungeon Master can deploy: not quite dragon, not quite serpent, but something far more unsettling than either. This sculpt by MZ4250 captures the creature mid-roar, body coiled low against the ground, claws splayed and jaws thrown wide — every tooth on display. The long neck cranes upward in a posture that reads as territorial fury rather than blind aggression; this is a predator that knows exactly what it's doing. The muscular, segmented body and powerful forelimbs give it genuine mass on the tabletop, and the coiled tail anchors it to an integrated round base with real presence.

Whether you're running a mountain cave encounter, a dungeon lair where something has been picking off the local wildlife for decades, or a moment where your players discover something has already eaten the dragon they came to parley with — the Behir earns its place. It works equally well as a painted showpiece on a display shelf, where those open jaws and dynamic pose reward close attention.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a boss-tier monster with genuine table presence for cave, dungeon, or mountain encounters
  • Are building a bestiary of classic D&D 5e creatures for their collection
  • Want a centrepiece miniature that rewards detailed painting — especially the teeth and musculature
  • Are running a campaign where the party keeps finding half-eaten dragon corpses and nobody can explain it

Encounter Hook:
The merchant's caravan went missing three days ago on the mountain pass. The players find the wagons intact, the goods untouched — and a trail of enormous claw marks leading into a crack in the rockface just wide enough to squeeze through. Whatever took the merchants didn't want their gold. It wanted them.
