Behir by La Louve 3D
Description
The cavern floor vibrates before you see it — twelve legs, scales like storm clouds, and a maw that crackles with trapped lightning.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The behir is one of D&D's most visually dramatic monstrosities: part serpent, part dragon, part nightmare. This sculpt by La Louve 3D captures the creature mid-threat — its sinuous body coiling low to the ground while the upper torso rears up, foreclaws spread and jaws wide open in a territorial display. Every scale is individually detailed across the full length of its serpentine form, from the ridged frill along its neck to the curling tip of its tail. It's a centrepiece creature that earns its space on the table.
At 32mm scale, the behir makes a formidable encounter piece for Dungeon Masters running Underdark expeditions, mountain cave complexes, or any region where something ancient and territorial has claimed the dark as its own. Equally at home on a display shelf for collectors who appreciate a well-realised creature sculpt.
Particularly suited to adventurers who:
- Run D&D 5e or TTRPG encounters featuring large monstrosities
- Need a centrepiece boss creature for underground or wilderness encounters
- Collect fantasy creature miniatures for display or painting projects
- Want a visually distinctive alternative to a standard dragon encounter
Encounter Hook:
The mining crew went silent three days ago. The foreman swore the tunnels were clear — but something has moved into the lower shafts, something that leaves claw gouges in solid rock and the scorched outline of whatever it last decided to eat. The party descends at torchlight. The torchlight goes out.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are provided as separate pieces and can be attached with standard hobby glue — note that this sculpt interacts closely with its base, so the base is strongly recommended for the best presentation. The mini arrives ready for priming and painting, or can be used straight from the box as-is.
