Description

The canyon floor shook with each of its twelve legs, and by the time the party saw the lightning crackling between its jaws, there was nowhere left to run.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Behir is one of the most underused horrors in the Dungeon Master's arsenal — a serpentine, multi-limbed predator that swallows adventurers whole and despises dragons with a territorial fury that borders on obsession. This is pose 01 of our Behir range, sculpted by Novaminis with every detail doing real work: the rearing upper body, gaping maw bristling with layered fangs, short forward-facing claws braced against the ground, and the long armoured tail coiling behind. The scaly ridge along its back and the smooth, muscular underbelly are captured with the kind of surface variation that rewards a careful painter.

Whether you're running a mountain pass ambush, a cavern lair encounter, or placing this beast in a Dungeon Master's collection of memorable creatures, this sculpt commands the table. It works equally well as a centrepiece for display shelves — the dynamic low-to-ground rearing pose gives it a presence that reads well from any angle.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a formidable BBEG creature or wandering apex predator for their campaign
  • Are running cave, canyon, or underground encounter environments
  • Want a large-scale painting project with rewarding texture and detail
  • Collect D&D monsters for display as well as play

Encounter Hook:
The party was hired to investigate a collapsed trade route through the Ashrock Passes — three caravans lost in a fortnight, no survivors. At the mouth of the third ravine they find the wagons, crushed and scattered, and embedded in the cliff face above them: a claw mark six feet wide. Something enormous roosted here, and the lightning-scorched stone suggests it has not gone far.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale and ready for priming and painting straight from the box. Available with or without a plain black base — the base arrives unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. As with all hand-finished pieces, minor surface marks from support removal may occasionally be present; these are straightforward to clean up before painting.
