The Beast Snake is one of those sculpts that stops adventurers mid-sentence. It combines the predatory authority of a great lion — mane flowing, jaws stretched in a guttural roar — with the armoured, spike-studded coils of a sea serpent. The creature rears up from a turbulent wave-sculpted base, one spined tail arcing skyward and the other coiling outward across the ground, giving it an unmistakable sense of writhing, muscular momentum. Every layer of the sculpt rewards a close look: individually rendered scales on the tail and underbelly, layered feather-like fur along the flanks and neck, and a face full of long, jagged fangs that tells you exactly what this thing wants for dinner.
At large scale (51mm base), the Beast Snake commands real table presence. Whether you run it as a unique monster in an aquatic dungeon, a creature summoned from a cursed reef, or a guardian beast lurking in a mangrove swamp, it earns its place the moment it hits the board. Off the table, it is equally at home on a display shelf — the layered fur and scale textures offer painters an enormous variety of techniques to explore across a single miniature.
This bundle includes both the supported and unsupported file variants, giving you options for your preferred print setup, and comes with both a decorative base and a plain base option so you can choose how to stage your Beast Snake.
- Adventurers wanting a large creature that doubles as a genuine centrepiece encounter
- DMs building aquatic, swamp, or coastal campaigns who need a signature monster
- Painters drawn to complex texture work — the contrast between fur and scale is a genuine treat
- Collectors after a display piece with a dynamic, explosive silhouette
Encounter Hook: The party's fishing vessel runs aground on what they think is a sandbar — until the sandbar moves, a leonine head rises from the surf with a deafening roar, and two spiked coils slam down across the deck. The Beast Snake has been sleeping beneath the trade lanes for centuries, and someone just woke it up.
