Beast Master by Epic Miniatures

This Beast Master sculpt from Epic Miniatures captures a wild, animalistic warrior mid-lunge — one leg extended behind him as he springs from a rocky outcrop, body bent low and forward with predatory momentum. His mane of unkempt hair and a vast, wind-swept beard give him the look of something between a hardened wilderness ranger and a creature of pure instinct. Both hands clutch long, narrow blades — more claw than dagger in the way he holds them — with fingers curled and arms spread wide, ready to rake across anything in his path.
The sculpt is rich with character detail: layered wrappings around his shins and forearms, a belt hung with pouches and trophies, and a broad torso left deliberately exposed to show the raw physicality of the build. The dynamic, airborne pose creates a real sense of kinetic energy — this is not a figure standing ready, this is a figure already in motion. On the gaming table, he commands attention immediately. On a display shelf, he holds it just as well.
He works equally well as a monstrous hunter NPC, a player character Ranger or Barbarian who has gone fully feral, or a unique boss creature in a wilderness or mountain encounter. The large medium base (25.5mm) keeps him stable despite the dramatic lean of the pose.
This miniature is a great fit for adventurers who:
- Are running a wilderness, highland, or forest campaign and need a memorable hunter encounter
- Want to play a Ranger, Barbarian, or Monk with a wild, animalistic aesthetic
- Are building out a feral humanoid warband or beastfolk encounter group
- Love dynamic, mid-action poses that stand out on the shelf as much as the table
Encounter Hook: The hunting party has tracked a series of livestock killings to the highland crags above the valley. They expect a beast. What drops onto the lead character from the overhanging rocks — daggers spread wide, hair wild, eyes absolutely feral — is wearing boots. Barely. He has been out here long enough that the distinction between hunter and hunted has entirely collapsed.
