Description

They said a dwarf couldn't shoot a bow worth a damn — he's spent thirty years proving them wrong, one fletched shaft at a time.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

There's something deeply satisfying about a dwarf who ignores convention. Where his kin favour axes and shields, this broad-shouldered hunter has mastered the bow — and he's not shy about letting you know it. One hand grips a shortbow, the other is raised with fingers splayed, either steadying himself mid-draw or signalling his warband to hold. The pose crackles with kinetic energy, as though you've caught him in the precise half-second before chaos breaks loose.

His layered kit reads as a lifetime of hard wilderness travel: scale mail beneath a thick fur cloak, leather pauldrons worn smooth at the edges, and a braided beard that could stop an arrow in its own right. A well-stocked quiver rides high on his back. The footwear has seen better days — exactly as it should for someone who's covered this much ground. The sculpt rewards careful painters, with deep texture work across the fur, braid, and chainmail that responds brilliantly to layering and drybrushing alike.

This miniature comes as a multipart sculpt with your choice of a decorative scenic base or a plain flat base, depending on your preference for gaming or display use.

Well suited to adventurers who:

  • Want a dwarven ranger or fighter who breaks the stereotype of axe-and-shield
  • Need a distinctive NPC hunter, scout, or clan emissary for their campaign
  • Are painting a Norse-flavoured warband or highland ranger party
  • Appreciate deep textural detail across fur, braid, and leather for layering practice
  • Want a characterful addition to a display shelf of dwarven heroes

Encounter Hook

The party crests the ridge to find the mountain pass already held — a stout figure with a raised hand and a nocked arrow stands on an outcrop twenty feet above them. He doesn't speak. He doesn't need to. The braided beard, the steady draw, and the three arrows already spent in the wolves scattered at the path's edge say everything. He's offering a truce, or a warning. Which one depends on the next thing the party says.
