Description
The forest falls silent — then the undergrowth explodes as half a tonne of fury rises onto its hind legs and fills the clearing with a roar that shakes the leaves from the trees.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This is pose 2 of The Toadstool Weaver's bear range, and it captures a grizzly bear at its most terrifying: reared up to full height, maw wide open in a full-throated roar, both forepaws raised with claws splayed. Every strand of shaggy fur has been sculpted with care, giving the piece a real sense of mass and wild energy. This is not a bear that wandered into camp looking for scraps — this is a bear defending its territory, and your party just made a terrible mistake.
In D&D 5e terms, bears are CR 1 creatures that punch well above their weight in the early game. This sculpt suits Brown Bears and Black Bears straight from the Monster Manual, but it's equally at home as a Dire Bear, a Druid's Wild Shape form, a Beastmaster Ranger's companion, or the guardian of a forest shrine. The upright pose commands presence on the table and reads clearly from across the battlemat.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Run wilderness encounters in forested or mountainous regions
- Want a Wild Shape token with genuine table presence for Druid players
- Need a Beastmaster companion or summoned beast with character
- Are building a nature-themed display or diorama
- Enjoy painting detailed fur textures and natural creature tones
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a wounded elk for hours when they realise, too late, that something larger has been tracking them. A mother grizzly rises from the bracken thirty feet ahead, two cubs scrambling behind her — and she has already decided the adventurers are a threat.
Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base is supplied unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. Support marks are removed before dispatch; as with all resin miniatures, minor surface imperfections may occasionally occur and can be cleaned up with fine sandpaper or a hobby knife.
