Description
He raises his goblet with the easy confidence of a man who has never once doubted that the room belongs to him — and the worst part is, he's usually right.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Baron is a commanding presence at any table — a broad-shouldered, well-fed noble dressed in layered merchant's finery, his ornate belt and beaded necklace marking him as a man of considerable wealth and considerable ego. He holds a decorative chalice aloft as if mid-toast, his other hand resting at his side with practised nonchalance. Whether he's welcoming the party as a generous host or quietly arranging their downfall over dinner, the Baron carries the sculpt of someone who always has a plan — and a fallback plan, and someone else to blame if it goes wrong.
This miniature suits a wide range of roles: a scheming city merchant, a corrupt local lord, a well-connected fence, or even a surprisingly useful ally. The sculpt's detail — from the scrollwork on his belt to the curl of his moustache — rewards painters and makes for a distinctive character piece on any gaming table or display shelf.
Well suited for adventurers who:
- Need a memorable noble NPC to anchor a political intrigue arc
- Want a charismatic villain who never gets his own hands dirty
- Are running urban or court-based campaigns with layered factions
- Collect characterful human figures for display or painting projects
Encounter Hook:
The party is invited to the Baron's estate for what is billed as a celebratory banquet. The wine is excellent, the company is glittering — and midway through the second course, they realise every exit has been quietly sealed, and the Baron is still smiling.
